Contentsquare’s Product Analytics team is looking for a Senior Product Designer. Our products help our customers deliver better experiences to their customers — because of that, we think our data and analytics tools should also provide a high level of care and craft, designed with contemporary user- and human-centered practices.
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for the complete user experience for new Product Analytics accounts. This includes things like the Heap trial, new account onboarding, installation, and out-of-the-box insights and analysis! You’ll operate across a range of design practices, from up-front research, insights, and strategy, through to ideation, prototyping, testing, and iterating, to delivery of final designs. We’re not looking for ‘unicorns,’ who are expected to be brilliant at everything, but we do presume comfort throughout the design process, and an ability to oversee and lead even those areas that you’re not an expert in.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
- Partner with product and engineering leaders for the team and collaborate across Contentsquare to create consistent and delightful experiences
- Lead user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and translate research insights into elegant user experiences that satisfy user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
- Design and document workflows and wireframes, bringing them alive as high-fidelity visual composites built upon our Design System
- Contribute to larger Contentsquare design team and ‘horizontal’ activities such as Design System development
- Advocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
- Share ideas, successes, and knowledge to improve onboarding and new user experiences beyond Product Analytics across Contentsquare’s other products
- Give feedback and support to other designers within the PA team specifically and the wider team as required
We’re excited to work with someone who:
- Has an extensive track record for shipping delightful products and user experiences
- Has experience working in complex systems with multiple audiences and complicated workflows and experience with enterprise SaaS customers
- Knows how to analyze a problem, consider research and data, then propose and deliver a solution
- Experience working iteratively toward a longer-term vision
- Collaborates effectively with stakeholders
- Excels at Interaction Design and Visual UI design, supplemented with strong abilities in adjacent skills such as UX Research, UX Writing, Information Architecture, and Analysis and Insights Development.
- Experience with different data visualization techniques is a plus.
- Understands how design work connects with broader business value
- Possesses excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
