It means using our sustainability goals to transform how we do business, working hand in hand with our clients and partners to tackle complex sustainability challenges in our industry and ultimately, help to spark a movement in the UX and startup communities.

As we move forward on our journey, we look to leverage some of the most rigorous ESG frameworks in the market.

In 2023, Contentsquare received its first Ecovadis rating, obtaining an overall score of 52/100 and the bronze medal.
Contentsquare has also been a UN Global Compact Member since October 2022.

Planet

Protecting our world for future generations.

Digital technologies have a major role to play in the transition to a low-carbon and less environmentally destructive economy. One of our priorities at Contentsquare is to be a reliable partner in our ecosystem, firmly committed to reducing its CO2 emissions. 

The first step on our climate journey was to calculate our carbon footprint, the results of which are published on the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) website. Since then, we’ve become a signatory of The Climate Pledge, a commitment by companies and organizations to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 — a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement’s goal of 2050.

From optimizing our products to reduce energy consumption to sustainable sourcing, via making our offices greener, we strive to make eco-conscious choices whenever it’s possible.

From following inclusive hiring practices to build a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities and markets we serve, to ensuring equitable compensation, advancement and career opportunities for all employees, our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is key to how we show up, relate with one another and deliver great work every day.

In 2022, we signed the Pacte Parité, a movement started by the Mission French Tech for a fairer French tech ecosystem. As part of this commitment we are pledging to have at least 20% of women on our board of directors by the end of 2025 and 40% by the end of 2028.

Digital Trust is an integral part of how we conduct our business and develop our products. Our vision and future as a group depends on the trust others have in our secure and responsible handling of data — our customers and their customers, our employees, business partners and other stakeholders such as regulators or NGOs.

Our goal for the industry is to create a high-performance solution that collects the absolute minimum of personal data. We strive for digital sobriety and we offer a solution that enables data minimization as presented in several Privacy regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). 

We maintain ISO 27001/27701 certification, as well as undergo audits for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, offering to our clients an extensive variety of security measures to allow secure processing of the personal data by the Contentsquare solution.

We also are one of 3 companies selected by the CNIL - Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, France's data protection authority, to take part in a new initiative designed to help innovation-driven companies accelerate their strategy and leadership around data privacy.

Helping to create a more inclusive digital world

We envision a world where everyone has access to digital experiences they love, seek and deserve. Experiences that adapt to their needs, no matter how quickly they evolve, that meet privacy standards with integrity, and are inclusive of all abilities. And with 1 Billion people worldwide living with a condition that may affect their ability to navigate the web, this last point is really important to us. 

That’s why we’ve put Digital Accessibility at the heart of our company mission, a commitment we cemented when we acquired assistive tech company AdaptMyWeb in 2020. From making our platform and website accessible to training the CSquad to become Digital A11y advocates, we know transformation starts from within.

The Contentsquare Foundation

Helping to create a more inclusive digital world

In 2021, we launched the Contentsquare Foundation with a mission to help make the digital world more accessible. We know that building a fair and inclusive digital world won’t happen overnight. We also know that systematically breaking down digital barriers for people with disabilities requires a mindset shift, which itself requires time and education. 

Through raising awareness about Digital Accessibility and driving change via advocacy, education, partnerships and research, the Contentsquare Foundation is helping to engage, mobilize and educate the communities that are shaping and building the Web of tomorrow.
