Each June, Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, honor the history of the movement, and reaffirm our commitment to equality for all. For Contentsquare, Pride is a reflection of our values and a moment to stand in solidarity with our colleagues and community members around the world.
Our New York office is just a short subway ride away from the Stonewall Inn, where the 1969 riots sparked a global movement for LGBTQIA+ rights. That proximity grounds us in the history of Pride and reminds us that real progress takes both visibility and action.
As we continue working toward an inclusive workplace, Pride Month is a chance to celebrate the progress we’ve made, recognize the work that remains, and come together to learn, support, and show up for one another.
How We Are Celebrating
To bring Pride to life across our global teams, our Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) planned two flagship virtual events open to the whole CSQuad:
Keynote: Eboné Bell on Allyship and Pride 365 On June 12, we welcomed speaker and activist Eboné Bell, who challenged us to think beyond rainbow flags and hashtags. Her session focused on what it means to practice allyship 365 days a year and how we can create cultures where everyone feels seen and supported.
Showing up and speaking up is more important now than ever. We all deserve to be seen and heard — so show up for your queer family members and friends.” - Eboné Bell
💃 Drag Bingo with Charlie Hides Then, tomorrow on June 26, things are going to get a little louder and a lot more fabulous! Drag queen and RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Charlie Hides will host a global Drag Bingo session, bringing humor, sparkle, and a sense of shared celebration to hundreds of employees from around the world.
Why Pride Matters at Work
Pride is about identity. But it’s also about safety, belonging, and community, all of which are essential in the workplace. When people can be themselves at work, they’re more engaged, more creative, and more connected to their teams.
At Contentsquare, that belief is embedded in how we work. Our Pride ERG, open to all employees regardless of identity, offers year-round programming, resources, and peer support to help drive progress internally and externally. Through education, events, and advocacy, the ERG helps us live our values, Be Understanding, Be Deliberate, and Be Daring, in tangible ways.
We invited Rachael Carroll, Pride ERG lead, to share what Pride means to her and how she’s experienced inclusion at Contentsquare.
In a year where we have seen so many American and multi-national companies terminate their celebration of Pride Month, we are proud that the Pride ERG continues to promote celebration, education, and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community at Contentsquare and beyond." - Rachael Carroll, Pride ERG Co-Lead
Reflections like this remind us that creating a culture of inclusion is built, every day, through intention and care.
Looking ahead
While Pride Month is an important moment of celebration and reflection, our work doesn’t stop on June 30. At Contentsquare, we’re continuing to support LGBTQIA+ inclusion year-round through:
Expanding intersectional programming across ERGs
Enhancing inclusive hiring and onboarding practices
Creating safe spaces for feedback and growth through listening sessions and leadership engagement
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we know there’s always more to do. Whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or as an ally, Pride at Contentsquare is about showing up for yourself, for each other, and for the values we share.
