Strategic Account Manager (m/f/d)

The Strategic Account Manager is a critical front line function, responsible for day to day customer relationship management, customer satisfaction and revenues within our UK Strategic Sales department. The position will interface across all company teams and functions including Consultants, Customer Success Managers, Pre-sales Engineers, Finance and Legal, in order to ensure both customer and Company goals are successfully met.

What you’ll do as a Strategic Account Manager at Contentsquare::

  • Take full ownership of complex accounts and contract renewals/retention, while creating cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Connect and build relationships with existing clients and act as a trusted advisor with an eye for up-sell opportunities
  • Build opportunities to network both within existing accounts by unlocking contacts across new departments as well as referrals to expand our reach
  • Work with Leadership to handle more complicated renewal processes
  • Seek opportunities to expand revenue from current customers through understanding long-term strategic business and people goals
  • Find opportunities to expand current relationships to parent or subsidiary organisations
  • Work closely with Customer Success to lead on touch points with clients during the subscription year
  • What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • 8+ years in sales with relevant SaaS sales experience selling to digital marketers
  • Excellent social skills both with customers and within an organisation
  • Consistent track record of navigating within large/global accounts
  • Experience addressing senior managers and the C-level executives
  • Ability to balance multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Take an active interest in growing customer satisfaction and deepening customer relationships
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS / E-Commerce / Analytics vendors preferred
  • Fluent in English
