Senior Technical Writer - Developer Documentation

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer in the R&D team to create public documentation for Contentsquare customers and partners. You will be writing technical documentation for developers along with explainers and tutorials. This position is an opportunity to shape the future of documentation with projects in their early stage, such as our Developer Center.
You should have demonstrable experience working closely with engineers and product managers to understand and document features along with programming experience and knowledge of web technologies. The role requires a perfect command of English, great communication skills and self-motivation to succeed in a highly-dynamic environment. You will report to the CTO Office and work closely with the engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

- Document new features for a technical audience with the larger context of the user in mind
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, clarity and consistency across the documentation and tutorials
- Meet with experts (developers, product managers, data engineers…) to retrieve expert information about core Contentsquare components and technologies
- Review engineering contributions from developers and help them get better at documentation
- Actively participate actively in building the documentation stack
- Monitor technical questions asked in Slack channels, plan the backlog, and share updates with stakeholders accordingly
- Actively promote existing documentation in the company

Requirements
- 5+ years as a technical writer
- Experience with docs-as-code tech stacks (Git, GitHub, Markdown or AsciiDoc)
- Experience with API standards such as OpenAPI, and SDKs
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English (C2)
- Web development experience (JS, HTML, CSS) and willing to learn new technologies
- Can speak the same technical language as product managers and developers
- Good time-management skills
