Senior Director, CPO Office (Paris)

Contentsquare is a global digital analytics company empowering the brands you interact with every day to build better online experiences for all. Since our founding in France in 2012, we have grown to be a truly global and distributed team – known as the CSquad – representing more than 70 nationalities across the world.

In 2022, we raised $600M in Series F funding and were recognised as a certified Great Place to Work in France, Germany, Israel, US and UK.

Please Note: Scammers are posing as Contentsquare and Contentsquare team members. We’ll never initially contact you via text or GChat, and never solicit money from you. Please visit our careers blog for more information.

Contentsquare aims to grow by consolidating its leadership in Digital Experience Analytics and by entering new adjacent markets via acquisition or new organic strategic development initiatives. To support these, it makes sense to have a clearer delineation between the 'operational' day-to-day aspect of the Product team (PM, PMM, PPM) and the strategic/disruptive initiatives.
We are creating a new entity “CPO office” which will support the Chief Product Officer in research and data-driven decision-making on strategic initiatives.

The 4 main missions of that organisation will be to:

1) Help define product & market growth strategies and enable the C-Suite to make the right decision to meet the company vision and business objectives.

2) Build Product & GTM strategies that will be operationalized by the rest of the team.  Eg Build vs Buy vs Partner recommendation.

3) Actively participate in potential M&A target discovery and evaluation. Work closely with the CPO and the C-suite on GO/NO Go recommendations and integration plan.

4) Hand over strategic projects to Product teams and provide ad hoc support during the prototyping phase. Sign off the strategic alignment of product choices.

As a leader of that organization, you will drive the 4 missions above -developing  market and product strategy that aligns to the company and Product vision, defining how each product will compete and win in the market. Working with the Product Leadership team and partnering with marketing, compliance, technology, you will design and communicate hypotheses and business cases that will define our market position, highlighting our strength and the overall threats.

You will own and manage:
- The Market research (and TAM)
- The Customer research function
- For that you will leverage quantitative and qualitative research
- The product strategy and customer research teams will report to you

We're looking for an experienced leader in strategic thinking, building business cases and getting buy-in from the organization while building, scaling the Impact of the CPO Office. The successful candidate has a proven track record of translating Strategy and research into product decisions.
