Contentsquare Expands Impact Team; Appoints Guilhem Isaac Georges as VP, Sustainability

New York, NY – April 13, 2022 — Contentsquare, the global leader in digital experience analytics, today announced the appointment of Guilhem Isaac Georges to the newly created position of VP Sustainability. Guilhem will join the Impact team at Contentsquare, reporting to Chief Impact Officer Kat Borlongan, who joined the company in December to extend its mission into areas that deliver greater impact, focusing on Digital Accessibility, DE&I, Sustainability and Digital Trust.

As VP Sustainability, Guilhem will lead the company’s collective efforts to set and meet the company’s Greenhouse Gas commitments, charting a science-based path to net zero carbon. Guilhem will also be the new company lead for all Environmental Social Governance (ESG) related certifications, volunteer pledges, assessor requests and ratings.

A key priority will be for Guilhem to work hand-in-hand with the product team to explore the role Contentsquare aims to play in lowering the overall carbon footprint of the internet through sustainable web design.

“In an age where global warming requires every company to pull their weight, we are thrilled to have Guilhem lead this transformation at Contentsquare! This is far from a one-person show though: We’ll be working closely together to help everyone in the Contentsquare ecosystem level up on sustainability, so we can take this journey together as a team,” said Kat Borlongan, Chief Impact Officer, Contentsquare.

Prior to Contentsquare, Guilhem served in the cabinet of the French Ministry of Ecological Transition as Political Advisor to the Minister, where he spearheaded the French plan for energy sovereignty in the context of the Ukraine crisis, the national framework for responsible advertising and France’s contribution to the EU’s upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a new law that sets out sustainability reporting standards. Prior to this, Guilhem held sustainability leadership roles at companies including CMA CGM and Citeo.

“I am very proud to be joining Contentsquare as VP Sustainability. As the global economy becomes more digital, the environment, and in particular, the climate impact of these activities is increasing. The digitization of the economy is not about to slow down, and this means that without changes in digital technologies and practices, it will be impossible to win the climate battle. This is the main reason why I decided to join a technology company,” said Guilhem Isaac Georges, VP, Sustainability, Contentsquare.

“I am convinced that we can develop innovative solutions and new metrics to better understand and reduce the ecological impacts of the web. For a company that is experiencing sustained and rapid growth, the challenge will also be to succeed in decoupling its economic growth from its greenhouse gas emissions. I am convinced that we can do it quickly and in an ambitious way, as Contentsquare is an agile and data driven company, two essential qualities needed to set up a credible and efficient trajectory towards Net Zero,” continued Guilhem Isaac Georges.
